Lauriane Chauvet

Associate

Lauriane Chauvet is an associate in the Paris restructuring and insolvency team and advises clients on both restructuring and litigation matters.

Lauriane advises and assists French and international clients, including the various stakeholders faced with an insolvency situation or crisis (distressed companies, shareholders, creditors, investors, purchasers, insolvency practitioners, etc.) on all aspects of restructuring and insolvency matters, whether it involves financial or operational restructurings or company takeovers, both in an amicable and judicial context.

Lauriane also has extensive experience in handling all disputes arising out of restructuring and insolvency situations, as well as civil and commercial disputes.

Before joining Stephenson Harwood, Lauriane has worked in the restructuring and litigation departments of the international law firm Gibson Dunn & Crutcher for four years.

Lauriane is a graduate of the Université Paris-Nanterre and the University of Chicago (LL.M – Master of Laws).

She is a member of the Paris Bar and the New-York Bar, and she speaks French and English fluently.
