Managing associate

Caroline is a managing associate in the international arbitration and commercial litigation team in Dubai who is an English-qualified lawyer and solicitor advocate.

For nearly a decade she has routinely been acting for a wide range of international and leading regional corporates, financial institutions, high-net worth individuals/families, quasi government/governmental entities based out of the Middle East, UK and Europe, and Asia on complex cross-border and high-value disputes and has significant expertise in regulatory investigations and white-collar crime.

Having been based in the Middle East region for several years, Caroline frequently handles cases before the DIFC and ADGM Courts in the UAE and has significant experience acting on complex commercial litigation matters before the English High Court.

Over her career, Caroline has handled numerous arbitration proceedings under the ICC, DIAC, LCIA, HKIAC, UNCITRAL and ICSID arbitral rules. This has included arbitrations seated in the UAE, Paris, London and Hong Kong.

She advises clients across a range of industries including financial services, construction, oil and gas, life sciences, sports, and private wealth.

As a result of her work, reputation, and standing in the market Caroline is listed in "Who's Who Legal: Commercial Litigation – Future Leaders" 2023 Guide.

Prior to relocating to the UAE, Caroline trained and qualified as a lawyer in one of the leading disputes practices in London and additionally spent two years practicing in Hong Kong where she acted on a range of fraud and insolvency matters. She also spent six months working in the arbitration practice of an international law firm in Paris.
